Al-Quds Index rose by 0.17% at midday’s trading returning to trading in green territory at 521.67 points. The index gained 0.87 point. The main index rose by 0.23% gaining 0.63 point to 275.99 points.

So far, total of 106.3 thousand shares are traded through 72 transactions at a turnover of $258.6 thousand. 13 companies participated in trading, 3 rose, 6 declined and 4 kept flat. The top three gainers are The National Bank which rose by 3.51%, Palestine Islamic Bank which rose by 0.8% and The National Carton Industry Co which increased by 0.32%.

The top three losers are Palestine Investment Bank which decreased by 4.76%, Jerusalem Pharmaceuticals Co which declined by 3.19% and Palestine Industrial Investment Co which plunged by 2.9%.

It is worth mentioning that at the open of trading on Palestine Exchange (PEX), Al-Quds index declined slightly losing 0.02 point to 522.52 after it closed yesterday at 522.54 points. The main index declined by 0.01% losing 0.03 point to 279.59 points after closing yesterday at 276.62 points.
